Celebrating an Incredible Summer of North Devon Weddings at Tawstock Court

As summer draws to a close, we’re reflecting on what has been an amazing season of weddings and celebrations here at Tawstock Court in North Devon. Our historic house and beautiful grounds have been filled with love, laughter and unforgettable moments, and we are so thankful to all the couples, families and businesses who chose to celebrate with us this year.

From romantic wedding ceremonies in our Tudor Gatehouse and Panelled Hall to relaxed outdoor receptions on the lawns, every occasion has been unique and memorable. Guests have enjoyed the magic of sunrises over Tawstock Court, long summer days in the rolling countryside, and golden evenings surrounded by the beauty of North Devon. It has been a joy to see so many happy faces and to know our venue continues to provide the perfect backdrop for weddings and events.

This summer has also shown just how versatile Tawstock Court can be. We’ve welcomed intimate elopements, grand wedding celebrations, corporate gatherings, and family events — each one tailored with personal service from our dedicated team. For us as a family-run venue, it’s been a privilege to help create such special memories in a place steeped in history.

We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved this season, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our fantastic team, who go above and beyond to make every event run seamlessly.

As autumn approaches, we’ll be taking time to reflect on all that we’ve learned over the summer months. We’ll be holding a full debrief soon, making sure we build on this year’s success and continue to make Tawstock Court one of the most sought-after wedding venues in North Devon.
