Hannah & Ryan: A Colourful Country House Celebration
The Story: Hannah and Ryan perfectly illustrated the freedom of our Country House Package, creating a day that was vibrant, musical, and completely their own. Wanting a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere, they filled the venue with colour, sound, and personal touches.
A Floral-Filled Outdoor Ceremony With 75 of their favourite people gathered on the Fountain Terrace, the couple exchanged vows against the backdrop of the rolling North Devon hills. The setting was framed by a spectacular arch of bright pink, orange, and coral blooms—an incredible labour of love created by Hannah herself. Accompanied by the soulful vocals of Lorraine Brown, it was a ceremony full of joy and heart.
Saxophone & Sharing Platters Following the “I dos,” the celebration moved to the lawns for Pimm’s in the sunshine, soundtracked by the talented Claire Sanders on saxophone.

Nicola & Andy: A Summer Twilight Celebration
The Story: Named after the Devon word for twilight, our ‘Dimpsy’ package is all about capturing the romance of the late afternoon sun—and Nicola and Andy’s summer celebration did exactly that.
Arriving at the front of the house, guests were greeted by the gentle sound of the fountain and the warmth of the summer air. With the venue dressed for an outdoor ceremony, 90 of their closest friends and family gathered on the Fountain Terrace to wait for the bride.
It was a truly picture-perfect entrance. Framed by the elegant Georgian façade of the main house, Nicola walked down the aisle towards the rolling valley views, exchanging vows against one of the most breathtaking backdrops in North Devon.
A Relaxed Feast Following the “I dos,” the celebration spilled effortlessly onto the lawns for confetti, cocktails, and relaxed group photos. Laura from Freeformimages was on hand to capture every hug, laugh, and happy tear, making the most of the soft, flattering light that the Dimpsy package is famous for.
Moving away from formal traditions, the couple opted for a dining experience that encouraged mingling. Guests gathered in the main house and courtyard for a laid-back feast of our signature wood-fired stone-baked pizzas, plentiful sides, and indulgent mini desserts.
Dancing in the Dusk As the sun dipped and the courtyard fairy lights began to twinkle, the atmosphere shifted from romance to party. Inspired Parties took over the decks, keeping the dancefloor full well into the night. With the doors thrown open, guests drifted between the music and the cool evening air of the courtyard—the perfect end to a magical, stress-free day.
Kevin & Andrew: A Sun-Drenched Vegan Feast
The Story: Kevin and Andrew embraced the beauty of a classic English summer for their June celebration. With 80 of their closest friends and family gathered on the Fountain Terrace, the couple exchanged vows in the open air. Framed by soft, romantic florals and the sweeping views of the valley and village church, it was an emotional ceremony accompanied by birdsong and a gentle summer breeze.
A Plant-Based Banquet Following relaxed drinks on the lawns, the party moved inside for a culinary highlight. Working with the talented team at Chef Duet, the couple curated a spectacular vegan wedding breakfast. The menu was a riot of colour and flavour, proving that plant-based dining can be generous and indulgent. The dishes delighted every guest—whether committed vegans or simply curious foodies—setting the scene for a joy-filled afternoon of toasts.
Sparklers & Celebration As evening fell, the energy shifted to the dancefloor, with a lively DJ set keeping the room full. To fuel the dancing, a tempting evening buffet was served before the couple led their guests outside for a magical finale. Under the twinkling lights of the courtyard, the night ended with a sparkling send-off, perfectly captured by Laura from Freeformimages.
