Tawstock Court is a beautiful venue that allows you lots of space both inside and outside to remember your loved one. 

We are located two miles outside of Barnstaple approximately a ten-minute drive from the North Devon Crematorium. We are also 100 metres from the beautiful St Peter’s church at Tawstock. We have plenty of on-site parking for large groups. 

We offer a selection of historic and serene function rooms that are suitable for both intimate and larger celebrations of life. We have the Courtyard Bar and Clutterbuck Bar to provide refreshments. If any of your guests require overnight accommodation we also have 20 ensuite bedrooms available at a discounted rate for wake guests. 

We have two bars on-site and these are exclusively yours and are not open to the public during the wake. These can operate as both a paid bar or if you prefer a drinks package we can arrange this. 

We are very flexible with catering options and can accommodate most needs as well as dietary requirements. We do have a number of catering options, that in our experience, provide the perfect food and budget options. Please contact us for more information on food packages
