Looking for a historic venue with bags of character and all the modern amenities?

Tawstock Court has undergone significant restoration work over the last few years to bring it back to its former glory. While we’ve worked hard to preserve the period charm, Tawstock now also boasts a professional kitchen, bar and café area, hi-speed Wi-Fi, AV equipment and much more besides.

The old coach house has been transformed into group accommodation for up to 50 guests, making Tawstock the ideal venue for residential retreats and courses.

Residential Courses

If you’re looking for an inspirational setting for a workshop, retreat or course, Tawstock is pretty hard to beat. (We may be biased but that doesn’t mean it’s not true.) We can host a wide range of events, from week-long writers’ retreats to two-hour creative workshops.

Away Days

Fancy some archery in the morning followed by bookmaking in the afternoon. Want to enjoy a delicious healthy lunch and lots of space for your team to get inspired and motivated? We can arrange a number of inspirational activites for your team. We also offer accommodation packages so you can make the most of your event.

Exhibitions

Tawstock Court makes the ideal venue for an exhibition or sales launch. Use as many or as few rooms as you need to create an impression with your customers. There is plenty of free parking and we are only 5 minutes from Barnstaple. We also have a licensed bar and cafe onsite and can offer plenty of catering options.

Christmas Parties

Fancy celebrating the festive season a bit differently this year? Pull on your dancing shoes and join us for an evening of fine dining and even finer dancing. We can’t guarantee it’ll be a white Christmas, but we can guarantee there’ll be plenty of cocktails, music, entertainment, twinkling lights and laughter.

Have a special birthday coming up? A landmark celebration like a golden wedding anniversary? At Tawstock we offer a special backdrop to host your event. We have a number of catering options for your party and a fully licensed bar for your guests.
