The old Headmaster’s Study has been redesigned as a cosy lounge with the ornate fireplace as the centrepiece of the room, its intricate craftsmanship and timeless elegance mesmerising all who gather around.

It’s not just the interior that enchants; the lounge also boasts stunning views of the countryside for you to enjoy whilst chatting with loved ones and enjoying a G&T.

The Panelled Hall, adorned with dark wood panels and two carved wooden pillars, also boasts a magnificent listed fireplace. This architectural gem serves as a captivating reminder of Tawstock Court’s rich heritage. This room sets the stage for your indoor wedding ceremony and after the vows are exchanged, indulge in a celebration of joy and togetherness with a delightful array of welcome drinks in the neighbouring lounges or on the balustrade.

As day turns into night, the courtyard transforms into a magical haven, bathed in a soft lighting scheme of your choice and a twinkle lit pergola that adds a touch of romance and whimsy.

With a quirky style and a cosy log burner, our Main Bar offers a unique and inviting atmosphere that is enhanced by stained glass features and its proximity to the charming twinkle-lit courtyard.

Our Gatsby-inspired Gin and Cocktail bar, where timeless elegance meets the history and memories of a time gone by. Named after one of the teachers from St Michael’s School, the Clutterbuck Bar offers a wonderful selection of artisan gins and popular cocktails to enjoy. In addition we proudly serve a range of delightful coffee, tea and hot chocolate creations, perfect for any occasion.

We have many beautiful and historic spaces outside where you can say your vowels. Our three most popular spots to say “I do” are the fountain in front of the main house, the historic gatehouse and our newly constructed decking in the woods. 

We have beautiful grounds that allow many photo opportunities as well as space for your wedding guests to enjoy. Springtime is particularly beautiful at Tawstock with our beautiful Bluebell wood.
