Murder At St Michaels

Murder Mystery Event (SOLD OUT)

Join us on March 13th for a truly atmospheric Murder Mystery

7pm til late (Bar Open from 6pm)

In 1935, a group of colleagues from the highly regarded private school of St Michaels in Tawstock meet up to decide who should take over as Headmaster following the recent death of the last Head, Dr Ernest Fritton. During a visit to Tarr Steps on Exmoor a few weeks earlier Dr Fritton had, it was believed, lost his footing in the mist which had engulfed the moor that day, and fallen to his death. At the meeting tonight are:

  • Dr Edward Chipping – Deputy Head and Bursar,
  • Emily Chipping – his wife
  • Robert Crocker-Harris – English teacher
  • Miss Jane Rutherford – Chairman of the Board of Governors
  • Miss Eleanor Whitchurch – School Secretary

What should have been a business-like evening soon deteriorates into something of a nightmare as tensions mount and hidden secrets are exposed. There is a sudden death and one member of the group takes charge of proceedings, seeking to get to the bottom of the evening’s events.

All the clues are there to lead to the right conclusion, but will they be correctly deduced? The investigator, with the help of the other guests at the dinner party must get to the truth before the night is out!
