Christmas Cake Decorating – 2-Day Course – 30th November – December 1st 2019
Students will learn how to cover an 8″ round fruit cake with marzipan and sugar paste to achieve a smooth professional finish. Expert guidance will be given on decorative techniques to include swags & frills, crimp & emboss to add texture, paint with metallic colours and try simple piping.
You will also learn how to use cutters & templates to create an applique design, and create unwired Christmas roses. Students will be introduced to a wide range of basic sugar craft equipment and will leave the course with a stunning creation to share with family and friends.
Dark traditional fruit cakes and all equipment will be provided.
