When we first purchased Tawstock Court one of the things that we encountered was a building that was in a bad state of repair. The first thing we had to buy were a lot of buckets as all of the rooms at the front of the property were leaking so much water that you could take a shower under some of the leaks. There were mushrooms growing out of the ceiling and walls sodden with damp – it seemed as if every notice board would conceal a wall sopping wet.
6 years later and a lot of hard work and stress has led us to the point where Tawstock Court has now been secured for the long term. With new roofs, repaired chimneys, renovated drainage, the front facade of Tawstock Court repaired and decorated and the inside rooms renovated we are at the point where we just need to maintain the property to make sure that
We were highly commended for our restoration work of Tawstock in a national awards by the PDA.
